Darrel began his tenure at RGP quite a few years back before taking a career break to work in other sectors. He returned to the practice in 2006 in the role of Senior Architectural Technologist. In 2020, he and Chris became Directors of RGP where he focuses on business growth, lead generation and project management.
Folllowing a career in the Army, Chris joined RGP in 2004 in a junior role. Since then, he’s worked his way up in the business, becoming a Senior Architectural Technologist and, since 2020, a Director of the company. Chris is charge of business operations, overseeing everything from accounts and marketing to HR.
As the former Director of RGP (his father set up the company in 1960), Nigel decided to hand over the reins of running of the business to Darrel and Chris in 2020. Now, he’s back doing what he enjoys best: design. As Lead Architect he oversees all aspects of a project from planning applications to masterplans.
With almost 50 years’ experience in architecture there’s not much Rob doesn’t know about planning and design. An invaluable member of the team, during his 30+ years at RGP he’s worked across a broad variety of projects in the North Devon and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the industry.
With a BA in architecture, Lorna joined RGP in 2015 initially for work experience before accepting a full-time post. Working part-time within the design team, she oversees many of the smaller design projects and is passionate about the creative aspect of her role
Troy joined the team in 2023 and is currently studying for his degree in Architecture. He has a passion for design and is keen to learn new skills in a variety of areas, including planning applications, surveying, creating concept sketches and liaising with clients.
Having worked at RGP since 2007, Angie is often our clients’ first point of contact with they visit the RGP offices. She runs the reception and. alongside Susan, oversees the administrative sides of the business. She specifically focuses on managing RGP’s accounts.
With currently over 150 live jobs on RGP’s books, Susan’s role is to make sure the company archives are maintained and kept up to date. This means if a client ever needs any information on their file, Susan can have it to hand. She also shares office admin duties with Angie.
