Sandy Way, Croyde

Project: 16, SANDY WAY, CROYDE Client: Mr. & Mrs. B Davies Contract Sum: Undisclosed Extension & Alterations to Dwelling to Provide Additional Living Accommodation. 16 Sandy Way sits on a private road in the village of Croyde. The clients' brief was to extend and alter the existing dwelling including the creation of a first floor to provide additional living accommodation. The desire was to create a contemporary dwelling with an open plan kitchen / dining day room, this was achieved and by the use of a large set of by-fold doors also opened this area to the decking. A key driver to the design was that the front facade to Sandy Way was retained as not to alter the street scene. A panel of the Hardiplank cladding was used on this elevation to tie it to the overall proposals. A high level of finishes and fittings were used throughout.
